Refund Policy
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
This policy applies to purchases made directly for 5e Maker through PayPal. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. Contact refunds@5emaker.comwith the email and PayPal transaction ID used for the purchase.
1. Initial Purchase Refunds
- Pro Monthly or Yearly: request a full refund within 7 days of the first purchase if no more than 20 successful generations have been used.
- Lifetime: request a full refund within 14 days if no more than 20 successful generations have been used.
- Duplicate or unauthorized charges: contact us promptly so we can investigate regardless of the normal window.
Failed or blocked generation attempts do not count as successful generations.
2. Renewals
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable after the new paid period begins, except where required by law or where we made a billing error. We review duplicate, unauthorized, and service-failure claims individually.
3. Canceling a Subscription
You can cancel through PayPal's Automatic Payments or Subscriptions settings, or ask refunds@5emaker.com for help. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not end access you already paid for. Your 5e Maker account page shows the paid-through date after the cancellation event is received.
Lifetime purchases do not renew and therefore do not need cancellation.
4. Request Process
- Email refunds@5emaker.com within the applicable window.
- Include the account email and PayPal transaction ID. Do not send passwords or full card details.
- We will verify the payment, successful-generation count, and subscription state before deciding the request.
- Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method; PayPal and the card issuer control final posting time.
5. Disputes
You may use PayPal or your card issuer's dispute process. Contacting us first may resolve a straightforward billing error faster, but it is not a condition that waives your dispute rights.
6. Data After Cancellation
Cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. Canceling renewal does not erase your account or generation records. See the Privacy Policy or email privacy@5emaker.com for data requests.
